Guide for volunteer shifts at Bølgebadernes sauna
It is a requirement from the Municipality of Copenhagen that at least one member of the Bølgebaderne association is present during public access to the sauna.
Your tasks during a volunteer shift at the sauna:
- Ensure that the guest has a valid ticket, either printed or on a mobile device (see exampleof ticket below).
- Check how many tickets have been sold on the website. f there are many tickets sold, it iseasiest if guests dress outside. They will have more time in the sauna if they can change clothes outside. Ask them to put their stuff outside, you can take care of it.
- In case of rain, use the changing room.
- You may want to give them a hand when they go from the bridge over to the sauna.
- Tell them everyone to sit on a towel! Thank you.
- Allow guests access to the sauna. The code must not be disclosed or shown to guests.
- Inform guests of the sauna rules if they do not adhere to them (the rules are indicated onthe sign in the changing room).
- Assist guests with special needs or those who feel unwell.
- Continuous cleanup and removal of any trash and forgotten items.
- The last shift is responsible for cleaning and wiping the floor in the sauna and changingroom, and ensuring the deck is cleaned (use only clean water from the harbor – cleaning supplies are in the cabinet in the changing room).
- If possible, answer guests' questions regarding Bølgebadernes sauna (refer to Bølgebadernes FAQ if needed).
